Civil Trial Work: Steve appears in the federal and state courts of Vermont in civil cases of all kinds. The types of cases in which Steve has worked include business litigation, personal injury claims, wrongful death, tax law, will contests, employment law including wrongful termination and sexual harassment, professional discipline and licensing issues, administrative hearings, zoning, environmental law, and constitutional law, including civil rights, civil liberties, and police misconduct.
Steve also advises businesses and individuals on how to avoid lawsuits.
Criminal Defense: Steve handles criminal cases, from misdemeanors including domestic violence and DWI to major felonies such as drug busts, assaults, robberies, sex crimes, and homicides.
